Welcome to Mercey Springs
A charitable giving program of Chill Sacramento
Mercey Springs’ entire premise is built upon creating bridges between people, organizations and resources. To further this mission, Mercey Springs has now joined with Chill Sacramento and is now its charitable giving program. Chill Sacramento brings in a diverse population of volunteers and donors who will help us have a greater impact!
CAMP FIRE DONATIONS
The best way we can help right now is with cash, gift cards (Target, Ealmart, food), N95 face masks. What we are hearing is that volunteers in the Chico area are being overwhelmed with managing the donations. If you’d like to give via Mercey Springs, we will be sure they get into the hands of those who are in need. You can also donate to some of the larger organizations, as well. Every bit helps! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! There are many different places you can volunteer (check Facebook groups, websites, etc) or you can register with Caring Choices and be vetted as a volunteer.
2018 Grant Awardees
Mercey Springs exists to help others in the community, either by providing fiscal assistance, event promotion, or volunteer services. Each year we consider grant requests from non-profits and others causes in our community. This year we were honored to provide grants to the following organizations. What’s Been Happening?
A thank you from the community!: Mercey Springs was awarded a Heart of the Community Award through the Sacramento Community Awards Program. We were recognized for our contributions to other organizations as well as the great heart our members have for service.
Chill Board Members Brenda Kress and Brenda Gustin proudly accepted this award on behalf of Mercey Springs on October 20, 2018.
We wish to thank Terry Freeman Moore, T-Mo Entertainment and The Center for Fathers & Families for putting together an evening that honored so many who don’t always make the front page announcements!
